EVENT CHAIRS
("responsible" for the following happening, can be delegated. Lots of help available!)
Verify bus transportation plans
Recruit volunteers for setup day
Design and setup course and grid/pits areas
Mark course
Set up corner worker stations
Set up novice and registration tables
Mark off areas for grid, pits, spectators, etc.
Create course maps
Put direction cones and event signs up
Organize event sponsors
Shirts, special classes, prizes (optional)
Set out loaner helmets
Set up PA
Set out jack boards if required
AUTOCROSS VPs
Contact sites to book dates / arrange payment
Arrange for insurance
Arrange transportation of bus
Sign and file insurance waivers
Collect insurance / site permission documents before event
Confirm staff attendance
Manage protest procedure
Order PJs
Restock paper numbers
Charge bus batteries
Replenish radio batteries
Check bus inventory and replenish before next event
Write autocross reports for the newsletter
Send pre-event email to the list of registered entrants
Order trophies and dash plaques, administer at event
Create / amend driver's meeting notes
Send event info to webmaster
GENERAL MANAGER (one VP per event)
Verify that all VP stuff gets done
Coordinate setup with event chairs for setup, responsibilities, event name
Assist with event setup
Ensure course layout safety
Make sure the "event chairs" list gets done
Assist with the driver's meeting
Act as point of contact during the event

Collect money and make deposit
Make sure everyone is doing their job and fill in when necessary
