just throwing this out for interest, but football anyone? I'm hopelessly out of shape and can't run for crap, but I'd love to play some flag foot ball or volleyball or tennis even. Haven't played any sports in years and I want to get out to do something to show I'm still alive. No date, time or place set, just sending this out for feelers.

I was thinking after Christmas to allow folks time to at least attempt to get into shape and not break crap when they run.

I'm in for flag football or ultimate frisbee.....I think. It might depend on what happened the night before.

+1 for ultimate, although i can't run for crap. even if a few folks just want to hook up and toss the disc around i'm always down for that.

My knee won't stand for playing ultimate for too long anymore, but I'd love to throw around with anyone who's interested. I've never played on a "real" frisbee golf course, but I know there are some around- I'd be interested in giving that a try sometime too.

There's a new frisbee golf course in the new Southern Community Park next to our house. (The website is out of date, as the course is finished.)

There are quite a few disc golf courses in the area. I've been hitting the Harris Lake course, the Kaplan drive course, and the Middle Creek course somewhat frequently. I've been trying to play at least once every few weeks. If anyone is up for it, let me know.

looks like we're leaning towards frisbee. How many disks do we need to make this work and where can we buy them now? I have none at the house.

there's only one ultimate disc - http://www.discraft.com/ultprod.html

i used to have several but they've all disappeared over the years. anyone want to go in on a bulk order? i like to get leftover club discs, and the price can't be beat: http://www.discshoppe.com/product/UB-GRAB-10
