Anyone know of a local place to get "aftermarket" cell phone batteries?

Edit: I have found the one I want online, but I need to get it before this weekend and don't want to pay overnight shipping charges.

Batteries Plus had a replacement battery for my cell phone when I needed one. There are several all around the area.

depends on the phone. ebay can sell you higher performance batteries. or you can get them on amazon.

The last cellphone battery I got from batteries plus was bigger than the original so I had to buy an auxiliary back for it and despite the claims of longer life, didn't last. My theory is when the battery dies, it is time to replace the phone.

what kind of phone is it? Better yet, any info from the battery?

I've had good luck with some of the ebay sellers- got some basic Nokia flip phone batteries for my father-in-law for like $5 shipped. Most of them seem to come out of CA though, so it's probably too late to get them by this weekend.

I ordered one from ebay, but I was hoping to find one locally before this weekend. No worries.
