If you read their site, it makes it very clear they are not responsible for any damaged products. They also make it sound like they won't help you if they ship the wrong parts. That being said, has anyone gone through them? Have you ever recieved the wrong or broken parts?

http://www.mazdaspeeddevelopment.com/

also what's up with the 2008 copyright dates?

I bought my clutch kit and flywheel from them earlier this year. They were VERY easy to deal with and for only $75 for the clutch kit and ~$110 for the flywheel, MUCH cheaper than the dealer or aftermarket.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I order parts from them all the time, their point is to make sure you know what you are ordering when you order it. Don't order the wrong thing and blame them.
Never had a part show up broken.

You can't imagine how many $$$'s I've spent with them since 2003. Never a single problem. But like others said, don't order the wrong thing.

They somehow even do amazing with the shipping.

I've spent thousands with them since 1997 and have always had great experiences. When I wrecked my 94R in 1997 they saved me a ton in sheet metal and suspension parts alone. That's when I learned *not* to do testing on public streets :-) They've always been easy to deal with. They've also bent over backwards to help us on a variety of occasions over the years. Just my 2 cents.

I've used them for years. Great folks. You can occasionally find some parts cheaper at on line dealers but I usually just buy from them to support the effort. AFAIK its a pretty unique setup to push what amounts to factory support down to this level.

Thanks guys. My largest concern was the effort they put forth to not garentee a shipped broken part, or a box of breaks that is missing a pad.

I just didnt want to find myself in a spot where I send them money, and 90% of the time they send me something broken thats sold "as is"

I've ordered a cluch from them and am soon going to order more stuff (frnt hub assys, wheel bearings or rear axle assys) They are easy to work with, but you have to send them your AX results to get authorized.

just to jump in late here, I drove a '10 mazdaspeed3 the other day and was impressed w/ the car. Good ride, sharp turn in and good throttle response. Seating was good plus had the tilt/telescope steering. don't know if I'll fit w/ the sun roof though. assuming you can order one w/ out the sunroof, that might be a fun car to autox. Next on the list to drive is a mini and a mx5. Still looking....

Rodney, Bowie Jr. just bought one and he loves it. Also, he says that you can not get one with a sunroof at all. I'm looking at the "Build Your Own" part of mazdausa.com, and sure enough, there's no sunroof option. Worry not about headroom.

The MS3 was high on my list before buying the mustang. I really like the car, but couldn't get over how terrible the boost lag was and how dead the engine went above ~5300rpms. I thought the boost lag would end up being too much of a PITA at an autocross. What do I know, I ended up buying a mustang to autocross though. :lol:

interesting. I never got a chance to rev it up since it was brand new and the sales dude was less than enthusiastic w/ my asking to get into it. Still casually looking...

I think the aftermarket has been able to improve it tremendously from what I've read, but messing with ECU and boost is going to kick you out of stock (if you are interested in that). I drove an 08' by the way, maybe the 10' is better. It is a great car and would make a great all purpose fun car. The non linear throttle really killed it for me though, and the impossible-to-change-gears-smoothly clutch and tranny combo. Don't forget the stock 18" wheels that won't be any easier on your wallet than your current mustang too.
