Stephen, that's called target marketing. Marketing only to potential buyers.

They must have sent it to me in error. I don't even own a Corvette. In fact I have 3 hatchbacks. If that isn't secure, I don't know what is.

Actually you all have the masculinity/Corvette relationship wrong. It is an inverse proportion.

This month's Overland Journal has a good article on Rolex's for those who are into 4x4-ish things. It's a GREAT magazine for those who haven't heard of it.

I like their slogan: ""The publication for environmentally responsible, worldwide vehicle-dependent expedition and adventure travel."

Ooo-kay, then :)

And my cell phone's ringtone sounds like a phone. That way, I know it's a phone.

If anybody is in the market for the watches that Wes posted about earlier (Alpha Watches USA), they have a coupon code for 10% off through Oct 31.

Code is -> alphaween

I really want the 24 hour watch, black dial black band, but I'm going to have to wait right now.

A few years ago, Mike Whitney mocked me by listing as a Christmas party "Five Questions" answer: "Art McDonald's 1986 Casio calculator watch". I was furious. True, I wear an ancient Casio watch to autocrosses, but it's not a calculator watch. Just expendable. Mike Dishman got wind of this affront, and bought me a brand new Casio calculator watch for Christmas.

Whitney may or may not have been the source of that ribbing. :P

In a moment of weakness, I ordered the Sub black/green and an olive NATO strap. Given Chris's warranty and feedback, it'll be a decent beater watch

Let me know what you think of the quality Wes. I have been dropping hints for the past 2 weeks about the 24h watch. :lol:

VERY nice choice. I'm digging the Newman right now. So many choices. Thanks for the link
