It is my understanding that you are in dire need of a Race Team Manager. I am submitting my name forthwit to fill this position. Let me state my qualifications briefly: I am currently a racer/owner of a two car team in the HPDE World Championship as well as being a major sponsor of multiple teams in the esteemed 25 Heurs De Lemons Series, one of those teams bringing home a win in 2009 as well as showing up in the back ground of a report on tv/youtube. I am familiar with the workings of large corporations as I am the sole owner of one of the largest corporations housed in my office building. I am also familiar with all types of advertising media outlets which is essential to the workings of an F1 team. MY cars look a heck of alot better than your yellow crap cans.

Now for the Pièce de résistance I once bought a Renault LE CAR NEW!!! drove it for 5 years putting on 105k and was able to carry enough spare parts in the partial shelf (not glove box if you remember) to keep it running the entire time. I even installed an am/fm cassette from sears in it! Patched the gas tank numerous times with bondo as well.

I also studied french in High school (as you probably can tell from my use of Pièce de résistance) and can still remember enough to get slapped in any bar in Paris (hetrosexual bar that is).

If you are unwilling to meet my salary demands will you pass my name to Fernando as I am also well quailified to go into the sports managment field.

Lastly, do you have Kimi's number and does Flavio's wife have a sister?

It's either a VERY slow day in G'vegas, or you've been on "hold" a very long time. Funny stuff.

Cline

When you get the job you should hire me, as your translator, I speak fluently French ( Canadian ) almost the same that they speak over there, driver coach and test driver.
Like you, I had a Renault also, the all mighty R8 not to be confuse with the Audi of the same name.
As driver coach I will teach them how to go off track without breaking anything and most importantly not bring the safety car out that we get accuse again of .....
As test driver I will help you set the car perfectly for any condition.

Au plaisir de travailler avec vous.

Mercy Buckets! Cline, if you land this, I'll be your highly paid and underworked assistant!

My Qualifications:

* Drove a rental Renault 11 (aka Encore in the US) at almost 95 kph in a tunnel on the A8 Autoroute between Monaco and Nice. On the windy and dizzyingly high bridges between tunnels, it slowed to about 85 kph. And I didn't cry and whine about it only having 3 lug nuts per wheel. Heck, those F1 Renaults only have one lug nut per wheel.

* In a rental Renault 25, successfully navigated (5 or 6 times) the part of the Monaco F1 circuit from the Tobacconist corner near the waterfront, up the hill to the Grand Casino and around Casino Square, while looking for the Jacques Cousteau Museum, which turned out to be nowhere near those sites. Valuable practice, nonetheless.

* In the same Renault 25, escaped from the maze of narrow alleys near Nice's Flower Market (OK, I made a wrong turn) without a scratch, while being pursued by an impatient honking BMW E30 driver.

* Drag raced against a 520i out of a toll booth on the A8, and would have won too, if my manager had not woken up and started screaming like girl when we hit 160kph. (Automatic 190Es are buzzy cars.)

* Also drag raced an unsuspecting Twingo driver, beating him handily with my rental Neon. Well, you can leave that out.

Art, Sorry we at Renault are trying to clean up our image. You look like a liability.

ummm, i too briefly owned a new Renault in the mid 1980's. was Chevy importing them at that time? this dealer also sold Saturns.

i traded it after 6 months for a Isuzu P'up.

sadly, i went to this dealership in a vain attempt to purchase a white 924 with water in the right rear fenderwell. but i did get to drive a P-car in the rain.
