You'll notice the nice paint finish on our car...that's what it will look like on race day too. We decided painting it was not worth any speed and would only add extra work and cost.

Where are the photos of the white Dieter? Rustoleum applied with a paint roller looks great at 25 feet!

Yeah...it's definitely a 20/20 paint job.

Oh, and Bret - Jay told me we since I had $.04 to spend after the post-race valuation on mechanical stuff, I could spend whatever on the new theme (I'm actually serious...) 8)

We wanted the new paint to stick. We really only scuffed the paint. We didn't fix a single dent!

Texture is good!

its kinda like dimples on a golf ball, they make it more aerodynamic.

Hmm...a LeMons car with a golf ball themed paint scheme, that's food for thought. Maybe Cline would get involved with a car like that...if it were a Mini Cooper.

shooooooot, if that's the case then our LeMons car is more aerodynamic than an F1 car........if you can classify dents as dimples.

Updated progress pics on the Team Magnum, PU prelude we now call “RiZo”.

We painted the hood louvers and NACA ducts black…

Ryan used the side grinder to remove a pair of coils and corrected our drag car-like stance…

I added a few sponsor decals and the team name for a little additional bling…

Finally, we took RiZo for a spin and are happy to report at this point that he is very healthy. My neighbors weren’t quote as excited as Ryan and I were though.
