I had the pleasure of driving this for a long weekend earlier this month. I rented it from AVIS while I was in Mass. visiting my daughter.

It was only a base model, but with 300HP it still had plenty of git-up and go. The car had a firm ride and handled corners well.

I didn't really care for the automatic tranny with steering wheel shift. It would not auto upshift at max RPM's. It would auto downshift as you slowed down.

I have to say after driving it for 3 days, the car grows on you, but the interior always felt cramped because of the chopped look. The tall body in the rear was impossible to be comfortable in reverse.

I still have yet to see one on the road or on a car lot for that matter. No way I'd buy a V6 muscle car no matter the HP number. A V6 is just plain wrong in a Camaro or Mustang.

Just saw a Burgandy one being an asshat on 40 yesterday. 30 day tags, coming off of hwy 147, shooting across three lanes, hitting around 100, then shooting back across 3 lanes for the exit 1 mile down the road.

Gotta love it.

Surprising the fit and finish wasn't bad (for a Chevy) The doors felt solid. As well they should being 6" taller than normal.

I didn't care for the 1.5" x 2" small electronic display between the speedo and tach pods.

Not having the trim package with extra gauges, I did not get to see what those were like, but they would have been located in front of the shifter on the console.
Many settings like auto lock/unlock available through XM radio/control center.

Passengers couldn't see over the hood. Unnerving at times on curvy/hilly roads. At least the driver seat had up/down controls.

Auto up and down on the windows.
Mirrors didn't help with the big ass rear end.

Rear seat folds down for more cargo room.
BTW, the trunk is shallow and long.

I sat in a RS at Daryl Burke and was disappointed. My head hit the headliner. I had read in C&D if you were much over 6', to forget it. Well, I can forget it. I simply don't fit in the car. Guess I need to dump all my internet pictures.... I won't ever buy this one.

Orange Challenger and blue Camaro SS parked next to one another this morning at McLamb's Performance in Four Oaks. He's had the Challenger for months, first time I've seen the Camaro. Pretty cool.

Pretty absurd that a car of that size and weight cannot accommodate someone over 6'. Though I'm just under 6' and would probably fit fine and love the looks of the car... must.... resist.... temptation....

Just cut some padding out of the seat cushion. You GM drivers are such whiners!
