back on topic,
you could get new plexi cut that was larger and fits into groves and clips on the inside. That way the door has to be open to remove them. I have seen that on a few cars before.

I wonder if the sign base only works with Chevy Monzas.

Meeting with my glass guy thursday to get him to rig something up.

Is there something you can do to a track car the previous owner didn't do?

What's your business?

Nice! My business is Web Performance, Inc., and I'm trying to figure out how to do some promotion linking "web performance" and minis so I can write off a dedicated car as a business expense, but so far my accountant isn't buying it.

i'm guessing the word "performance" isn't easily definable when related to a Mini.

My best friend is the chair of the acct dept at ECU and he says he would argue to the IRS that my cars are more advertising than normal car expenses. I just expense them as company cars.

I've heard that before from other small business owners who expense cars. We don't do any outside sales, and in fact barely do any business at all in NC, and so we can't even expense cars as we don't drive anywhere on company business. Its one of the downsides of owning an internet business.

why not write the car off as officer / owner compensation. post a picture on your website of the car with your company logo decals. you may not be able to write it all off but every little bit helps.

i mean someone has to drive to the post office, Staples, the bank etc.

if you are interested Michael i have a good accountant.
