All, sorry for starting a new thread, but I couldn't edit the first entry from the old thread and getting data together was getting cumbersome, so I've started a new one so I can edit and maintain. This thread is primarily for course volunteers. Instructors should be working w/ Brian Marks for your student assignments.

I'm still in need of some Friday setup folks, so if you can help. please let me know. We'll need you to be on site by no later than 4p (subject to change to 3p) in order to setup this course. I need about 8 folks and I have 5 right now, so I can use 3 more.

Friday setup:

Mike Whitney
Gilbert Reynolds
Brian Marks
Rodney Wright
Denis Kingberg
need 3 more

For Saturday, I have the following folks that are gracious enough to help come run the show. Please remember, there is the potential for rain and sun, so dress according and bring your bag of tricks to stay ahead of the elements. We also need to know if you can bring an easy up or some sort of shade tent. We need about 6 to setup on course to give everyone some shade. If you have one to bring, please let me know.

That said, I have the following folks lined up to help......

Name: ...............Friday setup......Sat Full......Sat morn.......Sat afternoon

>>>>THSCC<<<<
Colin O'Connell .......pending..........yes
Kevin O'Connell .............................yes
Debbie O'Connell ...........................yes
Alex Maier.........................................................yes
Frank Catena..................................yes
Rob Lupella.....................................yes
Mitch Moore...........................................................................yes
Rodney Wright...........yes.................................yes

>>>>Parent help<<<<
Denis Kingberg...........yes...............yes
Ed Holloway....................................yes
Cathy Holloway...............................yes
Jain Samir........................................yes
Mike Montpetit (will not attend)
Jason Franklin (not confirmed)
Sean Dennis (not confirmed)

Easy-up:
Rodney Wright
Colin O'Connell
Brice Johnson
need 3-4 more

Information updates:
1: I can use 1-2 more folks from THSCC to help run the elements. The plan is to have the parent run the start of the element and have our experienced folks out on course to watch / replace cones, watch out for safety issues and man the red flag and fire extinguisher.
2: For Saturday THSCC workers, I'll need you there by 9a. I plan to hold a volunteer meeting at 9:15 and give assignments to start with. We'll probably rotate elements during the day so it stays fresh for everyone. I would like for folks to be on course by 9:50 so the students can start on time. After all, this event is all about the students.

The student schedule for the day is as follows per Gilbert.....
8:00 am - Registration for students
8:30 am - Classroom
9:30 am - Break
9:45 am - Car tech with instructor
10:00am - In car exercises
11:30 am - Lunch
12:00 - Classroom
12:30 - In car exercises
3:30 pm - Classroom
4:15 pm - Graduation
4:45 pm - Dismissal

That's all I have for now, please stay tuned for additional info as it becomes available and thank you for helping!!!

3/4 of the O'Connell clan will be there (Colin, Debbie, and Kevin)- all day if needed. I can try to be there to help set up on Friday but I won't know how Friday is going until Friday. I can make it by 5:00 either way if that's not too late..

We'll bring our Easy up shade thingy

Shirts, one each L/M/S

I have an ez-up that I can loan. If one of the Wednesday RTP lunch crowd can deliver it, I'll get it to them tomorrow.

As I posted in Rodney's other thread, here's a teaser (draft) of the courses we'll be throwing down on Fri and the kids will be running Sat:

Your thoughts about using the EX5 crossover are a bit optimistic given the new buildings down there.

Gotcha. We won't be at speed near any of those buildings. The start/finish lines are low-speed.

Please plan to arrive around 3:30. We have a few things to check out and test at 3pm (assuming we can get in) and won't be ready to really throw cones down untol 3:30 or so.

The site is booked until 5pm so there's a chance we may be sitting around until then, but in the past Fridays usually end early :)

The weather should be gone by then and cool down some. Perfect!

Wes, where do you fit into the grand scheme of things? I didn't have you listed as a volunteer. You coming down both Friday and Saturday? I don't see you on the instructor list. If Wes is helping on Friday, then we have 6 confirmed for setup.

Mike, I've asked folks to be on site at 4 per Gilberts note.
