Those of you who have Axxis pads on your cars, where did you buy them?

Thanks

If you can't get them locally buy from these guys, they have the best prices and are way cheaper because they are branded under the name PBR (sorry, not Pabst):

Check Rockauto. They often have pretty good prices.

I have purchased most of my pads from Dave Zeckhausen, http://www.zeckhausen.com. If he doesn't have it listed on his site, he can get it quickly and will usually give a great price. (Dave is the largest Stoptech distributor, so he does a lot of brake business not to mention being a honest, great guy).

I bought mine recently from http://www.buybrakes.com/axxis/ and it went smoothly. I think I picked them because their shipping costs were slightly lower than others. But next time I will probably try the PBR sourced version that Matt mentioned due to cost.

Actually when Matt recently mentioned that PBR also sold Axxis ULT I was totally confused and wondered what the deal was. Was it a licensing thing? Who really made the pads? PBR or Axxis? Did someone else make them and both PBR and Axxis just put their name on them? So I started digging around with respects to the ownership of PBR and Axxis to see if they interset.

"Bosch" just bought "Pacifica Ltd". "Pacifica Ltd" owns "PBR" and "FMP Group". "FMP Group" owns "Axxis". Pacifica Ltd, FMP Group, PBR and Axxis are all Australian companies, but have facilities worldwide. FMP Group used to be "Bendix Australia" So my guess is that there is probably a factory (or factories) in this entry collection of companies that manufacture the pads and they are sold by both "PBR" and "Axxis"

Pacifica Ltd http://www.pacifica.com.au/
PBR http://www.pbr.com.au/
FMP Group/Bendix Australia http://www.bendix.com.au/
Axxis http://www.axxisbrakes.com/

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Ditto. have ordered from them twice. Takes about a week since they are left coast, but well worth the ~$50 saved a set.
