Does anyone know what happened to the Street Survival Schools?

I would love for my neighbor's daughter to take the course since she is a new driver, but the closest one I can find on the calendar for this year is in Wilkesboro. I don't think they will drive that far for it.

Todd... Ronn Hale is leading one at the Michelin test center March 14th ... but it seems that it's only for the Michelin employees. Might not hurt to send him an email if you want to go to SC for it.

PM or email me I'll forward you what I know

Gilbert and I talked at VIR last weekend about another school. He has been wanting to get one together for over a year, and the sites/dates/planning just haven't worked out. They are making slow but steady progress to use Sanford to host a school sometime in the first half of the year. If the schedule works out I will probably be helping to run it, probably "course chief" similar to how I helped a few years back at the NCSHP site.

I'll post when I know more. I am sure we will be looking for track and autocross instructors to help with the event!

Thanks guys.

Stacy, I'll tell them about the one at Michelin but I have a feeling that it might be a little too far away for them.

Mike, that sounds great. Keep me in mind as an instructor. I loved instructing at the 2 schools I did.

I put my son through the one a few years ago at the NCSHP site. It was great. My daughter just turned 15 and I want her to go through it too. Count me in to help with this deal!
