I was really bored the other night so I stopped channel surfing on the Speed Channel since it was not on pinks for once. It was on something called "Living the Low Life" this segment was about a portion of the population that drive something called Hillbilly Rods. Sort of like rat rods with a Latino flare. Got to confess,I liked them. Just take some random old 4 door, drop a 350 in it, reupohlster with old rugs, primer paint, lower, chop if you want. The only thing is they also are into tatoo's which just isn't me so I guess I will stick with you guys for now.

If you primer up the Mini it'd be a lot cheaper to fix if you hit something :P

I like rat rods too.

The show to watch is "On the Edge". The 'skid plate' races they have in Michigan are awesome. The school bus demo derby wasn't too bad either.

the hot tamale with the J-LO booty wouldn't have anything to do with your interest in that show now would it Cline?

i had a buddy in HS that drove a 64 4 door chevy and he installed that long fuzzy, hairy looking material for his headliner. the smoke would just roll around inside the car all up in the fur. very, very strange days.

let me know if you need some shag rug for the mini.

I'm pretty sure a '64 isn't HS legal. Certainly not with the mods you describe. :D

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

nah. what you need is a car like the ones in videos. the ones that are jacked up about 3 feet high, and the 30 inch wheels on it. with the 35 series tires, that way.. even a seam in the pavement wil cost thousands of dollars.. this way rallycross will be real expensive

In HS I had a 72 Nova that I carpeted with the left over green shag carpet from my parents bathroom. Steve, you would have been proud, it looked like it came from the factory. Between that and the kicking Audiovox 8 track with the 6x9 Coaxial Speakers it was quite the ride. I can hear the Doobie Brothers now.

As for point one of your post, I know not of what you speak
