Just proves that if it moves someone will race it. ...and that some people have way too much time and money and too little sense on their hands.

Those aren't tennis shoes, they are the latest thing in braking from Carbotec.

I like his brakes! I also would have gone for the stock sleeper look vs. the skull on the front. ;)

Anyone know what jet engine that was?

It looks like the same jet engine that that French nut job used to fly across the English Channel. Probably used in some sort of large scale RC aircraft, I suppose.

Unless I missed something, Honda CBR600 engines have always been 4-cyl 4 stroke

Very cool! I looked at their main site and they even have setups for helicopter, turboprop and even marine applications...

Indeed, the original velorex car.. was indeed a two cycle.. the cbr 600 was a thing someone did custom. It is certainly a 4t. or vier takt. four stroke.
the original velorex was made by the, sidecar company of the same name.
They went from making sidecars to making cars.(if you can call it a car)
not exactly safe in a wreck, however a trabant with duroplast body panels, is not safe either.
