I canned TWC and want to re-purpose the existing cable that runs through the house. I need to unplug it from the exterior service box which is locked. Hoping to avoid buying on or dealing with TWC any further.

how many rooms have cable outlets? In our house we have a splitter in the attic, and if I want to disconnect TWC, I just disconnect the splitter.

I'm trying to not resort to damage. No splitter unfortunately. From the box are two cables, just the one for TV and the other for Road Runner. I want to connect the antenna to the existing coax that was formerly for cable. Rather than drill & cut more holes, I'd rather use the cable that is there. Just need to disconnect it from the exterior box and connect it to the antenna.

Do you want a stripping tool to trim back the end of the cable to put on a connector? Terminating a cable means to short it out, and is usually done by using a terminating connector that has the center terminal soldered to the shell. This is done to end an unused cable that is not connected to a TV, such as a spare outlet put in to allow rearranging of the furniture. Stripping tools and terminating connectors are available at Lowes, home Depot and Radio Shack.
If you have more than one TV or outlet in the house there has to be a splitter someplace. If you find the splitter you can just connect the antenna to the splitter input.
Not that it isn't possible, but I have never seen the cable co direct wire the in house outlet directly to their service carrier wire. The cable likely has a screw together connector inside the service box.
One more thing, RR and the cable TV comes in on the same cable, so wherever the TV line and the RR line come together is the splitter. It may be just a simple T splitter if you had only one TV outlet. Remove the input cable from the T and connect you antenna instead. Now you previous RR outlet is a second TV outlet.

From the box that I'm want to open comes:

1. The coax to the cable modem with no splits.

2. The coax that used to provide the cable tv service. Its just on the other side of the wall from the TV so that may be why there are no splits there either.

They run from the box beneath the house directly to the TV and modem

The lazy numb nut that installed the cable before we bought the house drilled a hole through the hardwood floor, passed the naked coax through and crimped the connector on it. I may end up cutting it from the box and re-crimping a connector.

By the way should anyone be wondering, it would appear that someone opened the box with a bent coat hanger.

And closed it back up with duct tape?

No I'll have to find another opportunity for the duct tape. The lock is operable. I remember someone commenting there are two basic tools. Duct tape for when it moves and shouldn't and WD40 for when it does not move and should.
