Is this going to be on TV? I did a quick search on the dvr and got nothing.

I don't think the Three Rivers race was on TV. The Miller race is supposed to be on Speed on Oct 12. Since the event page on konichallenge.com says there's no info available for VIR (which is what it said for 3R, IIRC), I'm fairly certain there's no TV. In fact, I don't recall seeing any TV equipment there at all.

I'm sure you'll see like two glimpses of our car in the Miller broadcast. But my name will be scrolling across the screen! I know this because for those races they apparently do some sort of "live to tape" scenario where they produce it on the site as if it were broadcast live and they go ahead and feed that into the track TV system. So if you watch any of the monitors during the race AT the track, you see it as if it were live on Speed (including commercial breaks without actual commercials in them). They supposedly do add in the commentary later, though. And while I couldn't see my own name across the top, I could see Jason's and presume it will be mine during the time I was *in* the car. :)

I'm happy to report that my "close personal friend" (who didn't know me from Adam when I wished him luck this morning) finished second in the GS race, and one of the other cars from his Rehagan Racing/Roush Performance Parts team won. Mustang-Mustang-Porsche finish. I can live with that :)

Glenn and Alana Long had a big tent set up overlooking the snake, so I hung out with them some and watched their son Tom (who campaigned a car in ST class all year - the #145 MX-5) drive a rented M3, the #90 Automatic Racing car. Except for the 10 laps lost due to a cut oil line, he had a fine race.
