I'm a member at a Spa and Fitness club in Clayton called Pineville (don't get excited, it's a lot like the Y). The club director discovered that I'm a little involved with the racing community and asked if I thought that a group might want to get together at the club parking lot for a small show. Nothing big and fancy, probably no more than 60 cars, no interest in drumming up members, more for the current members to be able to come and look at all kinds of cars just because. He's got some great ideas that he would like to entertain, just needs some help getting there.

I told him I would ask around and see if anyone was interested in just showing off their cars. If we have enough interest here, then I'll let him know and we can start working out the particular's. Of course, this may also require some management involvement as well, but it won't cost us anything but gas to get to the site.

He's looking for November, just to give you a general idea. Again, if there's enough interest, then I'll pass along the word. If nothing else, it's a good excuse for us to get together for nothing more than to talk and hang out.
