Yeah, he has been a visiting prof. for a couple years now at NCSU. He spoke to my freshman engineering class once on something or other. Forgive me if I wasn't paying attention. :)

The guy who invented plasma TV's also teaches at state - Dr. Bitzer (forget his first name). He won a grammy award for it last year, but he didn't get to be on TV.
