Wuss. :) Sounded like fun.

Which GPS did you use? I have been looking at couple of the Garmin bike specific varieties.

Garmin 60CSx. Love that thing. Picks up signal great under canopy, interface is good, screen is good. Doesn't mind a healthy amount of rain. Does go through batteries pretty quick, but I started using 2700mA rechargables and they work great.

You go ride 30.2 miles with 3900 feet of total ascent and post your GPS track and then you can call me a wuss!

You were complaining about being tired a little too much in your blog. I was just teasing. :) I haven't done that much climbing in a long time.

I rode 62 miles (100km) the other day with over 6000 ft of climbing. Wuss.

Of course that was on the road (Blue ridge Pkwy), so I guess that makes me the wuss. Route is here: Fancy Gap Metric

I'd like to try some serious mountain bike trails like you were riding sounds like fun, well painful fun.

Shawn

Marcus, I know...I was just throwing the gauntlet down. :D

Shawn, pretty dang good, my man. I don't really believe in road biking, but if you're going to do it, I suppose the BRP is a reasonable place. Real men mountain bike, though. I'm just sayin'.
