What about cars with woody sides? That must really indicate a high degree of self confidence. I saw an early Pinto Squire on Alexander Drive in RTP today, and the driver looked very confident :)

Was it a gold Pinto wagon with wood sides Art? If so, I've seen that car over at Brier Creek Shopping center ALOT. I think the guy must work there!

I'll post a pic when I get home tonight. I have to say that it really is a good restoration. The paint and body work are spot on!

Interesting article, but I don't buy it. I chose my car color based on the colors that were available, not my favorite color "choice".

I've had black, white, red, blue, teal, and yellow. Yellow is my favorite, but in '98 my car wasn't available in that color.

I have a different theory anyway about some car colors.

Black = You have lots of time or money to keep it clean.
Red = You like to show off and get speeding tickets.
Yellow = You like for your car to get noticed...by everyone.
Blue = You don't really give a sh!t about the color.
White = You're neat and like clean cars but are too lazy to clean them.
Gold/Champagne = You're officially old...time for a Buick.

Yep, that's it. He was heading east on Alexander at Miami, so odds are overwhelming it's the same car. I really like the slot mags with the thin line whitewalls. Haven't seen that style in a while !

Well our current vehicle collection includes yellow, metallic black, dark blue, white, red, and silver. Over the years I have had a lot of different colors, just no yuppie non-colors like tan, grey or brown :sleep2: . My preference tends to run to metallics.
