Don't know about the article, but loved the gallery with CARS themed photoshopped cars, like that one:

Since I have a red car and a black truck I am like 23.4% below and prone to mood swings consistently........

I don't know if I agree with the article. Even if somehow a bright flashy car is a supposed "confidence booster" I would think that you would need a fair bit of confidence just to deal with the attention it garners. [Whether what car you drive should really garner you any additional attention is another matter all together.] Either way, I would say that a confidence lacking person would look for ways to shield themselves from attention and thus shy away from bright colors. A layer of anonymity tends to boost confidence amongst people. For proof of that just look at the users of internet forums. [This one may get somewhat of a pass as you have to use your real name and everyone seems to know each other somehow.]

Regardless, I find myself to be fairly level headed and confident but damn if I don't want a red Aston Martin. :D

What the ? Who does the writer think he is? I got your car color RIGHT HERE, buddy!

Oh, wait. Sorry. I have two silver cars and one white car. This scale says I'm 0.8% more confident that average and only have slight mood swings.

Still, what about brown? No mention of brown. When I was an impressionable high school student, brown cars ruled. Here's my favorite:

Wasn't it great being a car fanatic in high school in the mid-70's??? I mean we had such sweet new cars to drool over! I'm sure you wish you had this brown "Ghia coupe" in your collection Art! How could you resist its "fine" driving attributes and that sweet white vinyl top???

That would have been heaven, considering that I was lucky to be able to convince my mother to let me drive her to work on schooldays so I could drive her ten year old Falcon to school. The car I really wanted in high school belonged to an upperclassman in my 10th grade drafting class - 1964 Galaxie 500 fastback with cherry bombs and Cragar S/S mags. The only problem was the butterscotch respray. Don't know what that said about his confidence or mood swings.

So, if I've had every car color ever, what does that say about me?

Well sort of, my N/A MR2 came from the factory red, but got to be quite "pinkish" when heavily oxidized. :)
