Even growing up a Chevy fanboi, I would take a black Charger or Challenger ANYDAY over the Camaro.

Music is catchy. I was waiting for the guy to wreck his bike as he was adjusting his camera. ;)

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

So was I. With my luck I would have run right into the quarter panel.

I was hoping that they would have shut the music off so we could have heard the car as it drove by during the last scene.

I still think the car is going to be WAY overpriced and will be outsold by the Mustang year after year. I give the new Camaro a 5 year life span.

I'm hoping the Camaro will bring the used S197 prices down.

Isn't the Challenger going to be an Automatic only car? - AB

All this hype. Maybe one day they'll actually build and sell one...

the 6.1 or so Hemi first edition Challenger will be auto only from what i have read Aaron. add the fact that this thing is heavy as hell and said to push like a pig, and i lost all fascination with it.

But then all you would have heard is the clattering of the camera-man's moped ...

In 2009 a six speed manual is supposed to be offered with the 6.1 and 5.7 liter V8s. They'll probably build a few thousand, and then drop them due to lack of interest.

At the end of the first muscle car era, Chrysler showed up too late (even later than AMC) to the party and ran straight into emissions controls, compounded by the 1973 gas crisis. Now both Chrysler and GM are showing up late, just as gas is topping $4/gallon in a number of major cities and easy credit is vanishing. I doubt either company is going to make much, if any, money on these cars, or that they'll stay on the market long. Oh well, I've got my almost new pony car, and it's a lot of fun :P

Why does it look like it has NY plates on it and the rear quarters look like glued on disguise panels. What's with the shark fin on the roof?
