I guess I came late to the party, since I have only a passing interest in the "new" Camaro, but I just read where it is being built on the same chassis as the Pontiac G8. Donna got to drive a couple G8s "in anger" at an arrive and drive event for GM employees at Greensboro Colo. a couple weeks ago. When they found out she had AX experience they asked her to take one out and do a couple hot laps around the course to show the other sales people what it could do. She was happy to oblige and said the car handled pretty well considering it was all stock and she had 3 others riding with her. After that everyone wanted to ride with her the rest of the day... :D

There seem to be two insurmountable problems with the new Camaro.

First, it's not a muscle car without a live rear axle. IRS is for Corvettes.

Second, and by far the worst, it's butt ugly. It's not so bad from the front wheels back, but even if you chop the photos right there, for the first time in history the Mustang looks better than the Camaro.
