My new Falken tires(pun intended)

So I just got in some new Falken 512 tires and I notice that they were made by Sumitomo, but my Azenis were made by Ohtsu. I was wondering if falken was bought out or are they simply a company that contracts out to other manufacturers to make thier tires. Or did falken get bought out which might explain the season delay of the new Azenis.
