It's gotten so I don't often read the Letters to the Editor in Car & Driver, but I finally got around to it this month and noticed an amusing letter there by our own Matt Nicholson. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it already.

Good work, Matt- you're surely the most-published THSCC member in the major car rags! :P

I seem to recall that he had another published that was referring to an automatic Miata that read, "Jesus wept."

I'm dsappointed that he didn't get a direct resonse from the Ed.

It was classic Matt. Short, to the point, funny.

The same issue has a nice shot of the NC State DARPA project robot Elise .

Yea ... I remember thinking why would a NC State rolling billboard be painted blue ? Then I remembered the sponsor ... What's up with Goodnight anyway ,., State grad starts company with darn near Duke colors? The shame .,,,

Blue was the only color Lotus had for us. We weren't gonna bitch about a free Lotus Elise :P
