It's not his fault. Right there on page 22-26 of the factory service manual, it says "Using Honda Wiper Motor Service Tool EZ45-JB02 or any old hammer in your tool box, gently remove..."

I used the same "tool" to open the rear window of my truck when I locked the keys in it at VIR. With the same result!! But I got right in, didn't have to wait for any pesky slim jim.
