Les Davis: "I can't believe my DSM broke down!" said, of course, with just a teensy bit of sarcasm

I gotta say, don't ever let Michael Westerfield drive your car. Breaks a perfectly reliable DSM in a matter of seconds and we all know how hard it is to break a DSM. Thanks to Dustin for so graciously volunteering his services to get my car home on a cold rainy night.

Ruh roh.

There is clearly a pattern here. I let Kristin drive it once and the alternator died leaving her stranded somewhere in northern Durham. I let my brother drive it once and he comes back with a busted radiator hose. And finally, I let one person take a fun run in it at the last RallyX of the year several years ago and he breaks an axle. I never had a problem with it-- you do the math...

Ok, so long as it was parked in your driveway, it didn't break down. Gotcha. :)

The funniest part was I fully believe my truck wanted NOTHING to do with pulling a DSM. It revolted by blasting surface-of-the-sun hot air at Les and I, regardless of the fact that I had the thermostat turned full cold with the AC on and it was 36 degrees outside. First and only time that has ever happened. Went back to normal after 5 minutes or so, once I cracked a window to cool down - I think it was just trying to send a message.

i find it odd the truck would protest.. the blue dodge is made by a company which owns a part of mitsubishi, such protest spell mutiny by the big blue dodge.

Has Christine's soul moved from a Fury to the Laser? If so, at least it'll fix itself.

That is one way of looking at it. :D

But really, it never broke down while I was driving it. I think it liked me...
