Oh S**t. That was tree-on-metal, and that sounded CLOSE. The only vehicle parked outside is my truck. Oh S**t.

Turned out the metalic sound was the car trailer - still not good but almost anything done to the car trailer would be better than the truck.

Actually the trailer itself appears to have come away mostly unscathed - maybe some paint scrapes, but my pimpy AL toolbox on the front may be a goner. I suppose that's what I get for parking my trailer in the woods and not cutting down those last 2 dead trees. Oh well, at least it wasn't the truck!

Trailer insurance for me is $38/year with a $100 deductible. I figured it's worth it. Should cover damage, theft, or accident.

Uhh, hate to correct you but it is $18 a year with $50 deductible on comp $100 on collissiounless I am getting a $20 tip I don't know about.
