2400 *both* ways. Of course, that's two T1's bonded with a stupid frame relay layer on top to waste bandwidth. So I kick your collective butts on upload, which nobody cares about anyway. And I pay a LOT more for it. *sigh*

Objection! There are plenty of people with a net worth higher than mine that don't have to pay what I pay for fast internet! *sigh*

That's what I object to, dadgumit. Eventually civilization will make it to me. I think.

Do you "really" want civilization to make it to you? My wife still complains about the civilization that got us cable TV (and more recently broadband) on the NW edge of Raleigh. Heck, now the woods across from our little neighborhood have been cut down and an 800 student elementary school is being built. And we still can't get decent cell phone reception at home (which is a few miles from RDU and a couple of blocks from I 540). . . go figure. :o

Well, John Edwards only lives about 10 miles from you; civilization will be there soon enough via news conferences as he makes Hillary and Obama kiss his ring ...

Dick, we must live a mile apart - we're just down Norwood from you.

I don't want civilization here, I just want it close enough to benefit from their better cell coverage and data connections! :)

Seriously, we've got plenty of land with good options on some more, so I'll be fairly well insulated for a while. Same with our good neighbor, Mr. Edwards. Of course, he and Elizabeth are "scared" of their own neighbors since apparently some of them own guns! *sigh*
