As of this week I am officially retired from operating a jewelry store, and Donna has started her new career.
Donna is now on the sales staff at Rick Hendrick Pontiac/Buick/GMC as their high performance vehicle specialist. Rick Hendrick Auto Sales is the largest network of privately owned dealerships in the country, representing every major and many minor brands, so if you are in the market for any new or used car or truck, stop by and see her, even if it isn't a P B or G, and she can get you to the right person that understands our "special needs" at any Hendrick dealership. You will also be helping her by letting her enter your name into her contact database, even if you are "just looking" (or want to help her out

). The data base is her's alone, so it will not result in a bunch of unwanted sales calls or emails, but she gets credit for the number of entries in it.
I will still be making the occasional piece of jewelry and selling gems and pearls on the internet, but I will also be taking time to do some of the projects and special interests I have put off way too long. Six days in the hospital for congestive heart failure has a way of rearranging life's priorities. I am well on the road to recovery now, but I finally found out why I would get so exhausted from the lightest of effort (such as walking course, changing tires or being the starter or grid worker at an event) all last year. Even changing shoes or getting out of a folding chair made me sweat and have to catch my breath. Heart issues don't always produce pain!
Good news is that I have just received a new larger vinyl cutter that will allow me to offer larger car and trailer graphics!
