Tiff is a great driver, and he does a nice job when drifting letting the wheel freewheel and catching with just the right inputs at the right times (going back to an earlier conversation we had about letting go of the wheel). The M3 looks and sounds like a lot of fun.

Its too bad that SPEED...oops I mean NASCRAP TV took 5th gear off to show the 50th rerun of the same episode of PINKS, or Chop, CHop, Rechop, or Best NASCRAP moments or PINKS volume 15.. :(

I liked Fifth Gear better then Top Gear as well, shame we can't see it here any more. At least Speed still has PINKS, what would we do without that? Watching PINKs literally makes me want to stick a screwdriver in my eye. I would tune in to an episode of PINKS where the host was getting a beat down by just about anyone, now that would be worth watching.

When you think that the US equivalent to Fifth Gear is Motorweek, its kinda depressing, why can't we make a good automotive show in the US, almost makes we wish I was British. Motoweek is OK, and I've watched it all my life basically, but it is crap compared to the UK equivalent.

Are you suggesting that Rupert Murdoch (who kinda knows what he's doing when it comes to business) should lose money broadcasting something that you can download for free if you really wanted to? The market didn't support it, so he moved on. Free enterprise FTW.

What is this "Speed" channel you mention. I don't think I watch it. :whoknows:

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Rupert, Rupie to his friends, was on our ramp a couple of days ago. I told him he needed better racing coverage on Speed and move the NASCAR stuff to it's own channel. He said he would think about it. We'll see.*

*While Rupert Murdoch *was* on our ramp, I did not really have that conversation with him. And he does NOT like being called Rupie!!

You know I have actually traded some emails with the Tim Suddard (i think that's his name) at Grassroots motorsports. He called me one time when I sent a letter to the editor so maybe he remembers me when I email. Damn I'm Impotent, I degress. My suggestion to him, since he knows Jay Leno and other mover and shakers, was to start a true motorsports channel. Media is paid for with advertising and his magazines prove that there is an advertising base for guys like us. YOu could have all those good European shows, start a show with Peter Egan just talking, Even though I like that chick on American Thunder I would rather hear Egan talk, show old movies, and stuff like the extra features from the Grand Prix movie dvd, etc. He said it was a good idea but he just didn't have time to pursue it, he did a little with Dream Car Garage but said it was very time consuming.

I think we ought to get some backing and do this. You rich cats out there want to throw in a little and get it started?

That was my dad's favorite joke.

Poor guy comes home with a new suit, wife says your a garbage man, why do you have a new suit. Guy says "The Dr. said I was impotent, and if I'm impotent I'm going to look Impotent. " I think I was in my 20's before I got it. The joke, not impotence!
