Chip Ganassi/Felix Sabates Racing won the Rolex 24 at Daytona today, for the third straight year.

The race winners receive stainless steel Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches. Who needs three? I figure someone's bound to be looking to cash one in.

I didn't make it down there this year, so of course two Ford powered Rileys entered by Michael Shanks Racing occupied the first row at the start. One of the Shanks cars was leading when I left for church this morning, but must have encountered problems later as it finished 15 laps down in 6th.

Rodney is a waxer (but in a good way)

It sure did encounter problems. One of their drivers, can't remember which one right now, managed to bounce off the leading edge of the curbing in turn 2 and ended up by breaking the right rear suspension.

It was a pretty good race until the end when the Ganassi car just wouldn't break. I always like the race better when there is at least 2 cars on the lead lap.
