Well, I’m not really an addict. I can quit anytime. No, really, I can. Oh, God, I’m in denial. Ok, so I’m addicted to Tanks. Anyone else got the habit?

I'm hooked on Mario Galaxy and Wii Sports. Great fun.

I don't have one, just an original Playstation ftw.

I go to my friend's and his wife's house to play the bowling game. He actually has these new controllers that hook to the nunchucks so you can download and play old games like Super Mario cart and Contra.

It's like $8 to get the old classics.

Daughter and I have been playing Mario Galaxy and I think it is a really good game. Zelda was good as well.

What am I missing with Mario Galaxy? I tried it but couldn't get past the "storyline" to get to the game. I always really liked the original Mario.

I'm sort of a "don't show me labor pains, just show me babies" kind of player. That's what I like about tanks. No story, just shoot the tanks before they get you. There is some strategy involved, but requires pretty quick thinking or you’re dead. Actually, Bernie and I play as a team against the “enemy”. Doing that has gotten us to level 20.…..the dreaded invisible tanks!

Wii Boxing, Bowling and Tennis. ;)

I usually play about 45 minutes- 1 hour every night. Boxing can be quite a workout and it definitely takes some technique (timing is everything!!).

If you haven't tried it- go to the "training" section and pick the bowling "power throws" exercise- it's a BLAST!!

We even got my 70+ year old Father in law and his wife hooked, they stalked the UPS man and picked up a Wii of their own and now they bowl almost every night in their living room!!!

Ok, the cat’s out of the bag now. We started with Wii Sports. Bernie is off the charts on the graph for tennis. I don’t even try to keep up with him. He's pretty good at bowling too. He’s got several 300 games. The funny thing is to watch his technique. It’s all in the wrist. He hardly moves at all.

Gwen,

I am not sure what you mean. There is a bit of storyline movies that set the "plot", but then you are playing in the game. When you first start playing you are on earth (or wherever Mario lives) but you then are quickly dumped into the main game which involved the typical Mario puzzle, but this time on little tiny planets.

Are you stuck and just not getting off earth or are you playing and just didn't like the gameplay?

Richard

I have a friend who threw his remote into his DLP tv on accident while bowling. Remember to wear your tethers.

I love my Wii as well. Play is a lot of fun. My daughter and I play Mario Party 8. Others that I like are Link's Crossbow Training, Ghost Squad and Medal of Honor Heros. The Wii Zapper is a ton of fun. I have Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. It is fun, but a lot of the movements are pretty crazy. Game Party is fun there is actually a version of Beer Pong on it and it turns out I am no better at it than I am the real thing!

Apparently I never really saw the “game”. One of the guys who works for me and lives in an apartment here at the kennel is big in gaming. He’s always on the lookout for games he thinks I’ll like. He showed me Mario Galaxy-but I guess I only saw the introduction, not actually the game part. I just was telling him what you said and he told me that I just looked at the intro and said “too much story”. So, my bad. Guess I’ll borrow it and give it a try one of these days. As I said. I loved the old Mario.
