LOL ... yeah... just try arguing with some of the guys about harnesses without roll-over protection!

I don't know for certain, but there's a guy on Trackpedia who I think has "ignored" me as well. He's a NASA-SE guy and I give him the hardest time about competing on track without certain safety equipment (roll bar, harnesses, etc.) in the NASA TT series. It's quite funny and entertaining.

Have you ever seen a couple 2 year old girls fighting over a toy? One swings at the other on and misses. Even though she was missed the little girl starts crying, now the little one that through the punch is upset so she starts crying too. That is what that reminded me of.

Not that I am referring to Steve as one of the little girls.

Steve, maybe if you changed you name for Soldmystang to HitthetirewallwithmyE36andIalsoownavetteandane70 you would get more respect

Slap fight! Slap fight!

One of my co-workers walked by and asked me why I had a big grin on my face. That's some funny stuff right there...

Thanks Steve and Cline, I needed a good afternoon chuckle! :D

That is pretty tame thread.

All joking aside, if you want real feedback, you were the most aggressive and in your face poster on that thread. Sometimes including a bunch of smilies can't convert statements that dig into people into “hey, we are all friends here right?”. So while you may have been joking, he might not have gotten it. With that being said, what you said wouldn't have bothered me.

actually Richard, this here thread is more for humor.

the other one started out as advice to a guy that for some reason kept pm'ing me about his new truck. he was very apprehensive. hence the "Lexus" joke.

the dude with the BMW chip on his shoulder was a jackass and i felt the need to tell him so. my response to his pm regarding the block was " to quote Ricky Bobby, No offense mr scarletknight, but you really are being kind of a jackass here".

strangely enough i haven't heard from him since. i really don't care that he blocked me. i think it is way more funny that He thinks i would care.
boredom is a terrible thing to waste, thank god for internet forums

Well EXCUUUUUUUUUUSE ME!!!

Am I supposed to be impressed by that quote?? To quote the great philosopher Jeff Spicoli- "those guys are faaags".

It's sort of funny, until you realize that most of those guys are 100% serious.

Related story...

On a 914 forum I frequently visit, a bunch of guys ended up jumping onto a Fiat X1/9 forum and harassing the Fiat guys (see it drives us 914 guys crazy when people think our cars are Fiats). It started out as a joke, but as you can expect it turned out badly with bad blood between the two groups being created. Luckily everyone kissed and made up.
