When I was six years old, the auto repair garage owner living two doors down finished his first project car - a 1939 Ford Standard coupe. Navy blue, baby moons & beauty rings. With the art deco grill and teardrop headlamps, all of the kids in the neighborhood thought it was the coolest thing we'd ever seen. Maybe better than a fastback Mustang Later on, Dad told me that Mr. Jackson had put a 265 Chevy in it, and I was scarred for life....
