this is the link to a video from discovery channel, of a new technology.. it is based in australia, metal storm technologies ltd. 1k rounds per minute with relative ease. very impressive for encouraging workers.

how do the exhaust gases eventually escape the engine,.. otherwise you would have infinite back pressure.. the engine would explode.. how exactly does that work,, it looks like a runaway EGR.
