Hey everyone... sometimes we all get so focused on motorsports, we might forget about some of the social events that are available to us. Even as event organizers, we are guilty of maybe not promoting them as well.
I wanted to make sure everyone knew about an event for everyone coming up the weekend of November 3rd & 4th...
The Triangle Z Club / Cape Fear Z Club 4th annual car show and Z Blast
The TZC will be teaming up with the CFZC (Wilmington) to host a duel event. Saturday, November 3rd will be the Nissan/Datsun Z Car car show at RPM Nissan in Durham from 10:00 until 2:00... from there, we will be loosely caravaning to Castle Hayne (just outside Wilmington) for a crisp fall evening Southern style Pig-pickin' at Bain William's horse ranch. Plenty of open field parking for everyone, and everyone is welcome to attend (don't need a Z car).
We are working on having some head-to-head virtual racing (via GTR2) and/or a texas hold-em tournament (depending on demand).
Sunday morning, we will be doing a fun run in and around Wilmington/Wrightsville beach. Lots of photo ops. We'll end up back at Bain's ranch around 2:00 for a late lunch and casual show & shine.
The car show is $25 if you have a Z Car (or other Nissan/Datsun of note) that you want to show... free to come hang out and check out the cars. The Z Blast portion of the weekend is $25 (to help pay for the pig)... if you want to participate in both, its $40.
