It is like a soap opera...

Alonso doesn't like McLaren

Ross Brawn doesn't like Jean Todt (so Ross is on extended vacation and supposedly will not return until Todt is gone)

Todt may be forced to retire so that leaves Massa (who has Todt's son as his manager) without an "in" at Ferrari so leaves Ferrari.

Toyota continues to suck and suck even more with Ralf, but really don't have many options for an "A" driver

Toyota gets Massa

Ferrari gets Alonso

Hopefully Ralf is put out of our misery and retires.

And the next Rumour is that Jenson moves from Honda to McLaren to make the British super team.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

What does this mean for Kimi? Considering the depths to which Alonso sank because he felt he wasn't considered the out-and-out #1 at McLaren, how can he expect things to be any better at Ferrari?

FWIW, News of the World is the National Enquirer of the UK.

But get a few drinks in him...
I'm not a big fan of Kimi either.

It could be worse, he could be going to Honda :P Maybe the $$$$$$$$$ Toyota have been spending (and what they save by dumping Ralfie) will pay off someday.

Yes its a Rupert Murdoch tabloid, but not exactly the National Enquirer of the UK.

Is this a more 'legit' source?

Ah, Rupert again.

Just rumors at this point. But its good conspiracy theory stuff. There is just enough possibility to make it all plausible.

Do you mean the one that cites the same article as the original post in this thread? How about a planetf1.com article that does the same? I'm not saying that it's not true, but with only one "news" source reporting the story and everybody else reporting "Bob overheard X in the men's room" isn't exactly Pulitzer Prize award winning journalism.

Kimi will be the #1 driver still at Ferrari and prove that he can beat Alonso. Once they're in equal cars the whiny-a** biatch Alonso will then say Kimi got the better car... Alonso can rot in hell!

Sucks for Massa though. I like the little guy and he can drive. Toyota spends money like it is going out of style and they still suck so Mass won't last long there. He'll get pissed with their poor performing cars. Toyota might as well punt F1 and just build Nascrap cars. Honda should follow them. Oh wait, maybe not, in Nascrap your engines need to not blow up in 30 minutes or less... Ryan have you been working on their engines

Not arguing, but it sounds like you have something against a certain Australian business man.

The way that I can see 2008 unfolding is that Fisi gets punted from Renault after a mediocre career (the only win that I can remember is the rain soaked and red flagged Brazil GP from a couple of years ago), Fred gets brought back in as the #1 with no real team competition, and the monobrow comes back into style all across Spain.

Alonso will have the same problem at Ferrari - 2 #1 drivers so he won't be able to be #1. A more plausible scenario is that he will go to Renault to replace Fisi. Ralf will still suck and Toyota will hire Fisi to replace Ralf (replacing one has been/never was with anther) and Ralf will go to NASCRAP
