Running being a relative term. :) Hopefully the little POS will get me out to Kansas and back tomorrow and next week.

You might have seen it again this morning as it has officially become the "tire getter" while the Wagon is down for upgrades.

I thought you said you were going to get a "high horsepower" car. I don't really consider the Mister Duece to be "high horsepower." :?

I never said high HP, I said high TQ. With "high" being relative again. :D

STS2 CRX = ~100rwtq
ES MR2 = ~135rwtq

That MR2 is a monster dude! I'm sure it will take me years to adjust. OK, maybe (micro)seconds but it will feel like years dangit!

It isn't a done deal until it's sitting in my driveway getting covered by pine straw and tree sap, however. :)

I thought we were meeting half way. I run the Celica and you run a Camaro. So now I go shopping for all the JDM yo crap from Ricerland. Then you decide you're going to get an MR2. It better have an LS1 or at least a 3SGTE w/turbo. You bastard!

this behavior is deeply troubling to me Graham. did you hit your head or something? maybe you should consult your physcian regarding the meds he has you on.

I am meeting you half way. Besides, "half way" is relative. Everything is relative-- this is fun! :D

It will be RWD and the engine has the same power band as most truck motors. Corvettes are RWD and don't they have truck motors in them? That's what my Honda peeps said, anyway.

Its the Vipers that have the truck motor. Graham is on some good drugs, he has been talking about ricing up the grape with wings and lights and stuff

I'm not sure if I hit my head or not. But it feels good. We've come up with a good compromise for my back pain. Well, ok, the doc gave me a new RX and I modified it a bit. It says take with plenty of water. I tried it with Martini's. Darvocet with a Martini chaser is um, um, good!!! It's a DarvoTini :D

I've watched Tokyo drift like 17 times over the last week. I'm dumping the current Celica and getting a 92 AllTrac Celica with the 3SGTE conversion, KO Racing GT3071R DBB Turbo Kit, Intercooler, Tial BOV, Ground Control coil over, Invader body kit with full wing, under body light kit, colored smoke Kumhos. :word: This monster will kick the crap out of STi's and DSM's  TRD rules!

The Z06 is on Ebay if anyone wants a fairly well setup car with low weekend only miles on it. I need to sell it quick to get the AllTrac before someone else scoops it up.

Jim, buy my Z06, it ain't no truck motor. Your Honda peeps don't know squat. Most of them are still in high school... They still think a V8 is 2 CRXs duct taped together...

Be right back with more on my new project car. Time for another DarvoTini, or was it a MartOcet. Eh, no matter, I'll try them both ways :D :beerbuds:

That's weird. I thought all V8's were truck motors. :?

I think you are confused. My peeps are long past high school. Most of them didn't graduate but that is beside the point. Heck, technically I didn't graduate high school but who's counting. :)

...eyes 2 CRX's in the driveway... 3.2L of JDM furry? Hmmmmmm
