It was found in Raleigh somewhere. I'm going to get it after work and see what kind of shape it's in.

My blood pressure just dropped a whole heck of a lot!

Woohoo!

Are most of these thefts (like what Shawna mentioned) joy-riders?

When I worked in Chapel Hill we came into work one morning to find a '70 convertible 'Cuda wrecked and burned in the parking garage

My first question as well. Did you leave the keys in it?

I'm a little embarrassed about this, but yeah - I left the key sitting right on the center console. I was unloading some groceries and just...spaced. The house keys are on a different chain than the car keys. That will be changing today.

Well, apparently the guy did not finish watching the VW cabrio commercial were they brought the car back at the end.

Hope your car is ok Karl.

Two more questions pop to mind:

1. Do you remember how much gas was in it when you parked it?

2. Are you going to get yourself a nice "grocery getter" and save the S2000 for more important trips from now on?

OK, #2 is stupid but seriously, do you remember how much gas was in it? Besides enough to get to Raleigh?

I'm glad you are getting it back and hopefully they didn't do any damage.

Jim

Holy cow! That's awesome Karl! I just saw a silver S2000 yesterday on Hillborough street and at the stpolight I was looking at it really hard to see if I could spot that jack stand sticker.

I'm glad you got it back. 8)

Rice, you're twice lucky today; the Yotie's still available! :)

Seriously, dude, I hope you find every little thing about it to be just like it was when you parked it. We all anxiously await your report.
