What?!?? Are you serious?

If so, that really sucks! Sorry to hear that.

Probably a low priority at this point but I still have your auto-x wheels/tires...

NOOOOOO!!!

That's terrible news Karl. Are there any distinct features to it that would set it apart like stickers or emblems?

Don't all the AP2's have immobilizers?

Good luck on the recovery and I'll keep an eye on Craig's List & H-T.

It doesn't help when the last two times I've gone in to get extra keys made for my honda that they only ask for the VIN and nothing else.

That really bites. Sorry to hear about your bad luck Karl. I'll keep an eye out for any suspicious activity.

On the immobilizers Matt, I suspect they drug it up onto a flatbed (or I uncharacteristically left it unlocked). Although really, its a convertible - if they want in, they're getting in. It's the only way they could have done it. My bedroom is clear on the other side of the house so I doubt I'd have heard it.

Well, as it sat it had black Rota Torques, a trailer hitch, revalved Koni singles, and a Valentine One (yep - they got that too). Otherwise it was an A Stock car so completely stock. Dark silver with a black top and interior, dark tint too. There's also a tiny little decal on the bottom left side of the rear glass that if you look close, it's a jackstand.

Otherwise not much that can be seen from outside. Although - it's been gone four days so they've had time to strip it by now and I may not have much use with what's left. I suspect that it is a goner.

Oh, and my data acquisition system I'm pretty sure was in the trunk...

It looks like I'm not gonna get another 13K mile 2004 for whatever insurance decides to give me. I paid 22 and with a year's worth or so of depreciation, I suspect I'll be fronting some cash. What an epic pain in the ass.

Maybe I'll start another thread for replacement ideas, but I think if I had it to do right now, I'd get another S2000. Just need to find a late model one so my wheels would be legal - those things have $1100 worth of Hoosier A6s on them that are sitting at Feinberg's house!

Well just to back up the fact that this club rules, Rick offered me a ride in his S2000 for Sanford. Which makes it sting (which is still considerable) a little less now. Thanks Rick!
