I just took a trip to www.buick.com and I'm wondering what the Hell you guys are smoking. That's not an attractive vehicle - but neither is the FX thingie...

And an enclave looking better than an FX? I admit that styling is entirely subjective, but IMHO, no freaking way. Well built, nice inside? Maybe, but freaking ugly if you ask me. Maybe with a different grille it'd look better, I'm very anti-chrome.

I love the FX, but that styling is now dated. Plus, you will never, ever put 7 people in any FX, unless you want them two deep in the rear seats.

They look fairly similar actually.

All I can say is drive one. You'll be impressed I would guess. A guy at work got one of the first 100 in the country, and when I drove it was pleasantly surprised. - AB

Actually, the Buick Enclave is probably as nice or nicer than the Infiniti FX series/Lexus RX series and is made extremely well. If they could build upon a model lineup like that, they could survive. - AB

Never been in one Aaron. I'll take your word for it. That is not going to save Buick. If that is the 1 vehicle they have worth saving it can be absorbed into the Caddy, Chevy, GMC lineup. GM overall has too many SUVs in their lineup across divisions. I think they should close Buick and tell Pontiac no more SUVs. Then tell GMC they build trucks and Chevy you build SUVs. That's more than enough. They're too diverse and can't afford that luxury anymore.

Didn't realize that on the ION Brice. Never paid much attention to Saturn. The numbers sure don't look healthy considering they have such a small lineup.

Says the dude who's owned how many ugly Subarus?

At least Subaru came to it's senses and removed that hideous front end from the 2.5/WRX/STi and B9 Tribeca. And they wondered why the B9 didn't sell worth a damn. :P - AB

As soon as your name appears on the title you are officially old unless it happens to be a GNX.

Buick. The official car of old people.

I can't remember one that was ugly. :whoknows: The least attractive was the 05 Forester XT, though - but it was still better looking than your boyfriend's Chrysler. Best looking Subaru I've owned, definitely the blue 2.5RS that I used to kick your ass with in STS. Shouldn't have sold that one. The new 08 FXT is pretty sweet, too.

You only kicked my ass when it didn't matter :) HA HA

You must own a lot of lube for as much stroking you do to Subaru. ;) And I thought Honda Fanbois are bad 8) - AB

Oh, go suck on Chuck's towel. :P

(that one you linked didn't matter to me - just something different to try out, probably won't bother doing another one :D )

Is that why you looked all shaken up after day one when you were getting creamed for the first time in a long while? I mean we've all been there and I'm not making fun of you, but you don't get all shook up when it doesn't mean something.

It's okay...it's racing and you're not used to getting your ass handed to you. But don't try to tell anyone it "didn't matter." I think everyone knows you're way to competitive for that!

I know I was all jazzed at the end of the Xmas party when KA was talking junk about coming back to AX to take the Top Gun away.

Then I just found out he was hammered. :P

All I've had this year was Jim F., but I got him figured out. He doens't know it, but I've been keeping a puma chained in the crawlspace. I'm going to put her in Jim's car at the October event, she's going to be hungry.

—David who is less than a week away from driving a very long distance to have his ass handed to him. Repeatdly.

Just keep your cool and focus on driving at your best. Take the approach of seeing how your best and your car's best compare with the rest of the guys and cars.

KA couldn't do that with the help of Tom Cruise! :P

That's just wrong! I'm bringing my big cat repellent. :D

Or maybe I'll pick up a hot senior guy on the way to the event for distraction. Wait, that didn't come out right at all! :?

You could just wait until October and that way you wouldn't have to drive so far!

Jim
- probably going to regret all of this shortly...
