Similar to previous events, we are trying to setup a dent day.

I have spoken with John, and Oct 20th seemed to be a good date were he was free and no THSCC events were on the calender.

I have copied some of Mike Whitney's previous information below. Let's try to reuse this format as it works well for everyone.

***********************************************************

John Lofaro and his other guys at "Hail+Dent Adjusters" came recommended by Chip & Holland. Most of their work is at car dealership and they do excellent work. For those of you who weren't around for the last few, I'm pretty sure that everyone has been a satisfied customer. His prices are around $40 for a simple single dent to about $80 for a whole highly dented panel to maybe $150 to make a lot of improvement to a messed up car. He'll assess and quote a price. These guys are artists -- it's amazing what they can make disappear -- but they do no paint work, so don't bring a wrecked car expecting it to be repaired. I've seen him "improve" some minor crash damage though. They will pass on major creases that they won't be able to improve much.

John will be bringing 2-3 other guys with him so let's schedule 4 cars per hour. Sign up by responding to this thread. Come prepared to hang out and possibly wait for a short while, but this has usually worked fine in the past. One timeslot per car.

Respond here with:
Time (1st choice)
Time (2nd choice)
Description:

PS - John says he prefers cash. Cash always has higher bargaining potential!

2 - Marek Rozanski - Car #1 - 2-3 minor dings
3 - Ash Nelson - Creased fender, dents in hood

10AM
------
1 - Mitch Moore - 3 or 4 small dings
2 - Aaron Topal - 3 small dings
3 - Mike Whitney - 1 ding
4 - Ryan Holton - 3 dings

I need two slots (two cars) -- ideally, a 9:00 and an 11:00, so I have time to take the first car home and pick up the second.

Thanks.

Marek, any idea how much work for each car? Minor? Major?

Sorry... 2-3 minor dings on each car. Nothing major.

October 20th huh? :D That ought to work out pretty well...

Let's see, Chuck needs one crease pulled from a rear fender and possibly a couple hail dents from the hood. I see more dents every time I look at my car. I need to stop looking at it. I would guesstimate 3 panels worth. Minor stuff though.

We would both prefer the 9AM slot since we both work on Saturdays, 10AM would be the 2nd choice.

3 or 4 small dings. I'll take any open slot.

Anyone else? I plan to call John in the next few days, and I'd like to have a few more of those 10am slots open.

Bueller, anyone, anyone?

I have a few dents in the Mini that I was hoping to have fixed but Bernie's got a Reunion from his submarine days and I'll either be with him or at the Rumble at the River with NCR. Sorry.
