Hey all - just wanted to drop in and say hello, my wife and I recently moved from MI to Cary. We love it down here!

I was pretty active with the SCCA up in MI, rallycrossing and autocrossing and have done the occasional TSD.

I am currently driving a 318ti and have done one autocross so far down in NC, and am heading to SC tomorrow for an event in Florence. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and driving the tires of my little BMW :D

Welcome Ryan! We've got a pretty full schedule of events around here to keep you busy! Check the club calendar on the website to see what's up! We've got a rallycross tomorrow at Orange County Speedway not too far north of Raleigh, an autocross practice event the next weekend, the State Championship event the weekend after that, even a TSD rally in September! Come on and check it out!

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Bernie and I welcome you to our THSCC family. Soon you’ll find that this really is a family. All are here to help with whatever you need. Find us at the next THSCC AutoX. We’re the ole folks resting under the blue awning, (Usually there’s a bunch of people there) or driving the Mini convertible! Come to the meetings too. It’s the best dinner and comedy show in the Triangle every month. Also, a great way to meet other members.

Gwennie

Thanks for the warm welcome :D

I just got back from the 300+ mile round trip down to Florence and back, I finished mid-pack in TGS and I am pretty happy with my results. Car (err I...) was understeering quite a bit on the first couple runs and after adjusting tire pressure and easing off the gas a bit and braking a little earlier my times came down.

Looking forward to meeting up with everyone at the next event!

You would have had more fun at the rallycross today :)

Welcome! Where ya from in MI? I grew up in Troy, went to UM in Ann Arbor before escaping for better weather and better roads :)

Welcome Ryan!!

Don't forget about the track stuff too... you've come to one of the best places in the country for road course action! Check out the sibling program to the AutoX and RallyX stuff: www.timetrials.net

Well for now my rallycrossing days are over as the Subie is no longer in rally trim, I may have to come out and watch the action sometime for sure.

I was from Mount Pleasant, MI....right in the middle of the state. I can assure you there are not mountains and its only fairly pleasant...
