Ace 3D designer Stefan Schulze has come up with his latest design, the Panthera. The Panthera takes its inspiration from the Italian car De Tomaso Pantera (Pantera is Italian for panther), that was vastly popular in the late ’60s and the ’70s. The car has been built on the Gallardo platform.

The latest design to come from the First Signal Graphic Design Agency is aesthetic, modern and beautiful. The Panthera is a treat to the eyes. I’ll say Schulze has done justice to his inspiration.

I won't comment on the car itself, but the name?

"Panthera."

It sounds like a new line of bed linens from Siegfried & Roy.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

I have to give the Lotus folks credit for one thing about their body syles. They consistently design butt-ugly looking cars. This new Panthera fits in nicely with the other ugly crap, Elise, Exige ...

I'd take their old Pantera style from the 70s before this stuff.

I kinda like the red one, if for no other reason it doesn't have the dumb name in 8" letters down the side. . .

Instructions on how to pronounce your car's name should never start with: "Pretend you have a speech impediment..."

:P

Despite the silly name, I like the looks of this car. Please tell me the engine is a 351C like the old ones :)
