Just found this, wanted feedback to see if anyone has ever done this event? Thx:)

Looks like a lot of fun:) And cheap too! Worth all the gas driving up? Winning a Corvette? Not that I would, but nice to dream:)

I've talked to a lot of folks who've done Revitup over the years and they've all enjoyed it. A lot of the winners are autocrossers. Good luck.

I went to the original one back when it was a Mazda event. It was fun, but I haven't been back because I didn't feel it was worth the travel and I came in like 958th place, but that was with cone, I think I would have been like 674th place without the cone. :-) Sounds like the vehicles available to drive are a lot better now with Chevrolet sponsoring though I'm sure any hooligan driving in the vettes is grounds for dismissal. I know when I was driving the Miata on the non-competition course they nearly had a hissy fit when I squealed the tires a little. I mean they were street tires and its not like I stepped the back end out or anything, just a little squealing of the fronts on turn in. They nearly kicked me out for that.

I did one up here in DC 2 years ago, and the activities were fun, but it was horribly crowded. My advice: Get there early, as early as they'll let you. They do assign times when you're supposed to show up, but I don't know how closely they check it.
