 OHHHHH THE HUMANITY!!!!!!

My wife loves her some Subaru, so we are casually shopping for a USED Subaru wagon (2004 or older).

What should I look for/avoid?

This isn't to rallycross but........ if it could be a decent rallyx'er, I certainly wouldn't mind

Im sure Wes is drawing up the articles of impeachment as we speak.

I know where your first bumper sticker is coming from. Also, familiarize yourself with:

http://www.democrats.org/
http://www.birkenstockusa.com/
http://www.drbongs.com/

:P

Your average Subaru driver would NEVER patronize Dr. Bongs- they advocate the killing, drying and smoking of a living organism!!!!

Maybe www.peta.org, www.carpetandgranolamunchers.com and www.hairyarmpitsandlegs.com were what you had in mind???

Wes, I'll help with the paperwork.

Ryan, have you started listening to NPR too?

I hear that the only channel the stock radio will pick up.

I'd rather jamb pencils in my ear.

Hey, I happen to *like* NPR. I even give them money every year.

Nevermind on the whole anti-Subaru rant...

The Panasonic in my Subie took care of that. I am having trouble getting all the granola out from under the carpet though!

How big does it need to be? You can fit a LOT more stuff in a Forester than you can in an Impreza wagon.

There's Impreza, Legacy and Forester. All of them are great cars.

Impreza is sportiest, followed by Forester, then Legacy. All of them will suck at autox, but any of them could rule the rallyx.

Find out what her needs are in order of importance, and I'm sure the Subaru guys here can make a recommendation. Until then, not much we can do.

No on the Forester.

I really like the Outback Sport and the WRX Wagon.

What is an Impreza TS?

Here is one I REALLY like

02 Outback Sport

I must say that I really like my Subie! It is a great baby hawler / rally beater! I swore I wasn't gonna like it when Dustin wanted to buy it but it grew on me and now its pretty much my car and the car we take when we go out as a family! I have thought about upgrading to a Forester but after test driving a BMW 3 series I am rethinking that one! We will see.

Seriously considering the LGT myself after driving a Spec B a while back.

Actually we don't have a green one yet. Mine is black, Mike's is Red and Dustin's is Blue. Green would be a good addition. Though, it is a bug eye, so it might not be allowed to hangout with ours.
