The one and the same! :?

Let's get this straight -- you play in mud which is made with water and dirt and your car get's drowned. The same mud exists in a field where the deer and the antelope play and one headbutts your car. Maybe you should focus on driving on asphalt?

Cosby, you can't argue with logic like that! Can you???

If you manage to avoid trees, and other cars, post deer, I believe it comes under act of (diety here) and your insurer covers the whole schmere. Atleast that is what happened when I nailed a deer five hundred yards from my house and did 4K to a car I owned for three weeks. Kenny Hawkins did my Volvo, looked like new.

Deer only = comprehensive claim, not considered a standard 'accident'. This is like replacing an expensive windshield :) Good luck with everything Cosby. - AB

Yep, Allstate had us clarify whether "we hit the deer"=collision or the "deer hit us"=comprehensive.

"Contact with an animal" is one of the definitions of comprehensive, doesn't matter who initiated contact. Of course, they might cancel you if they know you are hunting deer with your car.

Oh BTW
<~~~~~ Funny :P

As for Wes, I have fun playing in the dirt. I was upset at both incidents, but not enough to deter me from continuing to have fun. :D

Cline, depending on what this does to my rates, I may end up calling you soon.

A comprehensive claim will not change rates. They just may decide to drop your comp coverage or raise the deductible. At the glass shop we had a lady who broke a windshield every year, insisted on a OEM piece and had $0 deductible. After 4 years she could not get comp coverage with less than $250 deductable from anyone.

most of the time that is true, but alot of companies are using tiering systems that consider everything, even comp claims. It is true that comp claims will not raise your rates but they can cause you to loose deviations, or discounts, bottom line your bill might go up.
