Next time someone complains about a confusing course, lets send them to Egypt to autocross. Check this link out. Quite interesting---look at the course maps on the right hand side of the page.

would be interesting to try that.. 3-point like those maps show are a definate test of a car's breaking and a drivers quick shifting ability.

I particularly like the Joie Chitwood metal ramp jump and the sacrificial corner worker as illustrated in photo A8. Also, the yellow tires placed every 4 feet on either side of the course would put an end to all that silly drifting and sliding we do at our events!

I think on Track 3 I'd be tempted to keep it in reverse until the north corner and then try a "Hollywood Turn".

I used to have a video (or link for a video) that I think was Japanese style autocross. It was a really small course, but consisted of performing many 180, 270 and 360 turns around various cones. Many parts of the course was reused. The ability to drift and hang the tail out seemed to be required. Not sure how my FWD would do on a course like that.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.
