What does one do in Raleigh to celebrate NYE? Vicki and I are without kids for the evening and are looking for a fun place to party for the night. This NYE marks the moment where Vicki and I have now spent 1/2 of our life together! So, we want to have a great night. Is there anything fun to do in town? Oh, watching a giant acorn drop does not sound like fun, so First night is out.

any thoughts?

I heard a commercial on the radio that ladies get in free at Thee Dollhouse. Breakfast Buffet at 12:30 or something like that?

I think the Brown Stone hotel on Hillsboro Street is having some function with a room package.

That reminds me I need to go to the ABC store.

Adam brings up a good point. Rebecca and I are also sans kids on NYE. It will be the first time in 7 years that we will be able to actually do something FUN! Probably a good dinner somewhere and maybe a little beverage consumption will be in order. But not too much, don't want to get a DWI and have to give up driving altogether!!!!!h

Sullivan's is $85 a head I think. We are doing the $55 early bird special at 5:30. That gives plenty of time for steak to digest to make room for the Jager shots.

Nobody carries on the Mullis New Year's Eve party tradition anymore? That's a shame. Always a good time.

There's a bonfire going on up here if anyone wants to come...

Diane :)

Anywhere on Glenwood would probably be a good bet. Most places have a cover so bring some extra cash if you want to bar hop. Oh, and take a cab Todd. It is always fun making them earn their tip by filling their ear with drunken conversation, maybe a quick stop at the side of the road to barf your new year cheer.
